Three days of Free entertainment

Presented by REGENT THEATRE and DURHAM BLUES FESTIVAL INC.

Our 2023 Festival has come to an end. Over three days we hosted almost 2000 people in the ‘Big Tent’, and received very positive feedback. We would like to thank all of the performers who brought their unique talents to both our outdoor and Regent Theatre stage. Another big thank you to our sponsors and vendors. Without you we couldn’t have made this happen!

Stay tuned to this website for information regarding our 2024 festival, taking place on September 13-15.

Fandango was formed in the mid 90s by brothers Geoff (guitarist/vocalist) and Chris Dahl (bassist/vocalist) along with noted blues drummer Perry Weido for the purpose of joining the cast of Legends Alive, a North America wide touring rock & pop theatre production that toured throughout the USA and Canada. They continued to tour with American Superstars before breaking out on their own.

Fandango continues to bring a unique ZZ Top experience to casinos, festivals and venues of all types. They recreate the greatest hits from the late 60’s through to the 80s when ZZ Top were considered the coolest band in the world. Fandango has the musical chops, the cood shades, the crazy costumes, and of course, the beards!

Relive the magic of ‘that little band from Texas’ and catch Fandango in action as they serve up the blues, boogie, and all the laughs and excitement that go with it.

Elton Rohn is thrilling audiences everywhere. Having headlined over 350 theatres and festival shows in North America. In 2022 the band played to over 70,000 people across 4 Provinces in Canada and 7 States in the USA. They’ve played from Las Vegas to Atlantic City, California, Chicago, Philadelphia, New York, Myrtle Beach, Washington State, Pennsylvania, across Michigan and upstate New York and all across Canada. They’ve broken attendance records and recently just topped a poll as the top tribute of all time at a prestigious Ohio festival.

The only Elton John tribute asked to play the Elton John convention in Las Vegas. Davey Johnstone (Elton’s long time guitarist and musical director) called the band “the best 70’s Elton John tribute in the world”.
